Metrojolt’s (and everybody’s) favorite wobble-driven duo Jack Beats have never disappointed with new material. Whether it be new tracks, remixes, or random free bootleg packs, they never fail to both explore new ideas and keep their signature sound. In the coming months, Jack Beats will be releasing 2 mini-ablbums. The “Evolution Mixtape” is a preview of the first one, Careless featuring an impressive and exciting roster of collaborators including Diplo, Dillon Francis, and Example. Based solely on this mixtape it is very clear that these two albums will be the highlight of summer releases. Jack Beat’s production quality is essentially untouchable, and from this mixtape it seems like we’ll be seeing more of the stuff we like with some unexpected twists and turns along the way (look out for the techno slapping your face off of your face). I especially like the entirely horn based remix of Rihanna’s “Countdown”.
Look out for Careless – it will be realeased on Beatport under OWSLA on Aug. 7 and worldwide under Columbia on Sept. 10.
