The Electro-House duo Felguk is definitely a force to be reckoned with in this next coming year regarding electronic music.  I’m not sure if you’ve recently heard their newest tracks such as Nudge (which they collaborated on with one of my favorite producers Dirtyloud), Felguk, or Bassive, but if you have, you know that these two don’t mess around with their bass pounding synths and drums.  In fact, take some of the strongest synths that you’ve ever heard (like the ones that make you get out of your seat immediately when the bass hits your ears), multiply their intensity by ten and you may come close to describing these guys’ synth production.

Made up of the two musically talented Brazilians named Gustavo Rozenthal and Felipe Lozinsky, Felguk have been all around the world touring in countries such as USA, Canada, and Mexico. If you watched the official trailer video for the music festival Electric Daisy Carnival in 2010, then you heard their Electro party anthem “2Nite” and the lyrics, “I got that feeling that tonight is gonna be the night” might have even gotten stuck in your head.  Maybe you have been following Beatport for awhile and you might have heard about their remix of Exceeder in 2007 which skyrocketed to the #2 spot in the Beatport charts and if you haven’t heard Buzz Me yet then you need to update the Electro section of your library immediately.  Fact of the matter is these two producers/DJs have been creating awesome music for awhile, and it doesn’t look like they’re planning on slowing down.

In 2011, Felguk began their own imprint called Dongle Records where they released three original tracks called Blow Out, Jack It, and their newest release, Bassive.  Dongle Records also promotes artists such as David Amo, Lazy Rich and Electrixx, all of which remixed their track Blow Out.

Be prepared for Felguk in year 2012.  It’s no question that for the duo who holds the #87 spot in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ poll, some new bass-filled surprises might hit the EDM scene.  Who knows, one might become another party anthem.
