Although they cannot be justifiably considered mainstream, G. Love and Special Sauce’s unique sound has attracted an ever-growing passionate fan base. G. Love’s lyrics roll off the tongue with a sweet and tangy delivery. For backgrounds, Special Sauce lays down a groovy bluegrass beat. The result is unexpected but nonetheless a joy to experience.
G. Love captivates listeners by connecting with them on a personal level. He’s able to relate to his listeners with the messages behind his songs. He stresses choice words to convey the passion behind his lyrics. Above all, G. Love and Special Sauce thrive off of the ‘average joe’ appeal evident in their songs.
