Gesaffelstein
1

Gesaffelstein, the king of Techno, finally makes his appearance on Metrojolt. Born Mike Levy, The French Techno producer is a master at combining minimalist sounds and making it irresistibly tasty to dance to.

After releasing his first EP in 2008, Gesaffelstein has been evolving and changing his sound. Gesaffelstein’s music started calmly and subtly cosmic in his “Vengeance Factory” EP (2008) with tracks such as Death Fagh. Now, it has evolved into a harder and sexier concoction that he expresses in his “Conspiracy Pt. II” EP (2011). Gesaffelstein has made his name by perfecting his sounds and adding even greater tracks such as Viol to his repertoire.

He writes his tracks in the same fashion that he performs – simple and elegant. His tracks don’t have the melody that the majority of electronic music lovers enjoy. Instead, he has the listener contemplate and focus on his expert combination of well-made sounds. In the same way, he performs dressed up in a suit instead of the common tshirt. It just screams classy to me.
