New Jersey native Seth Haley, aka Com Truise, is no stranger to the electronic music scene. His dreamy, 80′s sounding synths have made quite a splash over the years he’s been producing, and with a couple EPs and a fantastic full length album under his belt it comes as no surprise that In Decay is set to be one of his most interesting productions to date. The album consists of a number of never before heard tracks as well as previously unreleased ones – all from before and during his official releases. I always like to hear these types of albums, especially from a producer like Com Truise. It really gives the listener a feel for the types of exploration that led a producer to their modern sound, and in the case of Com Truise that journey is quite captivating. Bouncy bass lines feel rubbery in a good way (his label thinks so too) and perfectly complement the almost retro style synths and simple-yet-complex drums.
Ghostly International released In Decay on July 17. You can stream the whole album here as well as download the first single “Open”.
