The artwork for Wolfgang Gartner‘s latest track, There and Back, may be misleading. Instead of sounding like an electronic version of a death metal band, There and Back is a coherent and happy track. In fact, it’s near-perfection because every aspect of the track is incredibly happy and energy-giving. The drums have a bouncy feel to them. The synth is raspy but exciting. The simple melody is quite repetitive, but all the better – it makes the track catchy, danceable and fun. My favorite part you might ask? The break and buildup starting at 2:58. Enjoy!
