BearForce has jammed 11 killers tracks into one hell of a 5 minute mix for Our House Records, and the pleasure of your ears. BeardForce sound familiar?  Phil and Brandon are both authors here on the website.Their minimix is lively and energetic, spanning and mixing many different sounds and textures. Behind any exceptional musical talent is a weird idea. I asked the duo to comment on the mix:

This mini mix began with a simple meditation. Must one use vinyl or CDs to DJ from the heart? Can one inspire true emotion from a laptop? After many moons of practice we came to understand the only true technique to DJ. We learned to DJ with nothing but the bass within. Sending midi through telekinesis, we became our own unstoppable instruments of groove. Indeed the Force that is Beard is the midi mind controller set to conquer the galaxy. We recorded it in one take at 6000 BPM then pitched it down to 127. We recreated all the songs using a series of circuit bent Gameboys and Vengeance samples.
