[info_box] “It Gets Indie” is a benefit concert which showcases indie music, while raising money funds and awareness for the organizations working to prevent gay teen suicides. Buy your tickets here. [/info_box]

Who: The event is being spearheaded by 14-year-old Noah Hornik: this will be his second year organizing the concert. This year’s bill is only two bands, but we couldn’t be happier about which two: Local Hero and Princeton.

When: This Saturday, June 23rd.

Where: San Francisco’s premier indie music venue, the Great American Music Hall!

Why: Metrojolt is going to this event for a couple of reasons: it has a stellar line-up that we’re stoked to catch at a sweet venue AND is raising funds and awareness for It Gets Better and the Trevor Project, two non-profits working directly to reduce suicides among gay teens.
