Simian Mobile Disco - North American Tour Preview

Yes!! Simian Mobile Disco have just embarked on their North American Tour named after their newest album A Form of Change. This English Duo of electronic excellence have yet to let their fans down as their reputation and production value continues to grow more impressive with each coming album. Their last release Unpatterns took me on lush musical voyage that is filled with sparse conceptual moments of minimal bliss that keeps the listener with one foot on the dancefloor and one foot in the abstract. Because of my love for this album I was ecstatic to learn of their newest release and their North American Tour, I had only seen the duo once before, but they had left a lasting impression on me and stick out on a stylistic level among the plethora of electronic artists I love. Their stage presence was humble and well coordinated and I could not help but look upon them in awe as they shifted through endless pages of CDs as they were constantly switching them in and out of their CDJ’s. Their oldschool approach to mixing and their progressive style in the way they make their music makes for an exciting overall performance that should not be missed!
