Here’s a new one from a brand new French producer.  This track comes from the latest release to be announced on Fake Blood’s never disappointing label, Blood Music.  It’s not what you would expect from Blood Music, but I can see why they would want to release it.  Not many people are making dance music like this.  The song has a fucking guitar solo in it.  The combination of soulful vocals and reverb laden keys give it a sort of UK Garage vibe.  I don’t often write about tracks that aren’t meant to be dropped at peak hours so I’m unsure of adjectives to use to describe it.  None of my usual ones fit – lethal, brutal, massive, banging, etc.  I’m pretty sure that too much techno has resulted in a brain of mashed potatoes.  I guess I will just say that tracks like this aren’t usually my cup of tea, but Dabeull managed to make something that can cross musical borders.  That’s something not a lot of musicians ever do and yet this guy managed to pull off on his first attempt.  Be sure to give Dabeull a follow on his month old SoundCloud page. He deserves a good deal more than his current 13 followers.   The release date is set for September 30th.
