Oh hipsters of the internet, forgive me the most atrocious crime of being a dinosaur. This was released a few months ago in November of 2011 AD. I know that’s practically before you guys were born. I believe this came out at the height of the Cold War. Anyways, it’s new to me (subtract 30 cool points from Gryffindoor, Hufflepuff wins the Voldemort).
Canyons are an Australian duo who have put out a remarkably diverse discography within their short career. I picked up a 12″ Single from them a few months ago which verged on something like deep house. I was blown away when I listened to the song I have for you here and realized I was listening to the same Canyons. The lyrics are absolutely beautiful and the instrumentation is just perfectly assembled. The rest of their album, Keep Your Dreams, doesn’t disappoint either. You can pick it up on iTunes.
