Zeds Dead Pt. 2 (Rinse FM Mix with Plastician)
1

If you’ve been reading Metrojolt since the earliest of days, you’ve seen Ben’s original post on Zeds Dead way back in the beginning of 2010. I would now like to return your attention to this duo from Toronto, comprised of DC and Hooks, that remains after years of listening one of the few dubstep producers I can consistently rely on to put out GOOD original dub material. We are currently in what I like to call the Dark Ages of Dubstep, which I suppose to some people might seem like a good thing as far as dubstep goes, but to me represents a time where over half the tracks that come out sound like a random mash of wub wubs with no concern for melody or musicality. That’s not to say no one at all is progressing in the genre, one notable exception is Bassnectar, whose new mind-boggling album we’ll be reviewing here on Metrojolt in the near future. Anyways, the purpose of this post is to give Zeds Dead their respective props for being consistent, highlight their new mix with Plastician they did for Rinse FM which is full of quality mixed bangers & mash, and give you an assload of tracks. Enjoy!
